Welcome to my brand new blog!
I guess I will start off with telling you a little about myself. I'm an almost 30 year old army wife and mother of three beautiful and frustrating girls. When I'm not spending time with my family I like to craft and bake. I knit, crochet, hand embroider, and most of all quilt.
I decided to create this blog to keep track of my quilting adventures (and mishaps), work through my bucket list of quilts, and hopefully inspire some people along the way.
One of my top goals for this blog is to share what works for me and what doesn't. Not everything I try works out and I plan to share the troubles I run across as well as my successes.
I just finished helping my oldest daughter, Addison, create her first quilt! I decided to go with an Irish Chain quilt and followed Eleanor Burns Irish Quilt in a Day pattern. Addison had so much fun and I am so proud of how well she did. I will be sharing some pictures of the quilt soon.
Right now I am working on designing a quilt using the Lady of the Lake quilt block and plan to share the whole process from designing to binding it.
I hope you will come along for this new adventure! Thanks for stopping by.
